This is the time of year when it feels like we are in a time warp---we go from winter to spring to summer in just a few weeks time.
Our Cherry Blossom Festival was a huge success, as was the Clemens Busch wine maker's dinner. The food and wine pairings worked to perfection, and we hope that Clemens will find time a year from now to visit us again. Next up is Mother's Day, for which we have an array of brunch specials. No one seems to have invented any dishes that particularly shout Mothers day, but we have some wonderful spring foods to work with---jumbo white asparagus, morels, ramps, organic eggs, rabbits, St. George mushrooms and perhaps suckling pig. Without a doubt we can come up with some pretty exiting creations with these ingredients. Please make a reservation if you intend to come over for brunch under the cherry tree, weather permitting of course.
